Parental Requirements

daily schedule
Co-op is a lot of work, but we get back what we put into it. The rewards of our work are many. Intangible benefits include social activities, a support network of people in similar positions, and friends you can really count on. Parental requirements are:
  • New family orientation (2+ hours)

  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid training and certification

  • Weekly shift work (4+ hours)

  • Emergency back-up shift duty (1-2 sign-ups per quarter)

  • New family fee ($95) and monthly dues ($95)

  • Monthly General Meeting (2-3 hours)

  • Babysitting during General Meeting (1-2 times per year)

  • Active participation on one committee per parent per household (time varies)

  • Cleaning three or four times a year (3-4 hours per time)

  • Two work parties per year (4 hours each)

  • Shift worker trainings (2 hours each, 2-4 times per year)

  • Special events (potlucks, workshops, etc.)
